    Korean

    Korean Food is definitely a favorite cuisine, though to be fair, there are a lot of favorite cuisines!

    Part of what distinguishes a cuisine from other cuisines are the ingredients used and ingredients and the cooking techniques used to prepare them. For plant-based cooking, the important ingredients used in Korean cooking would include

    • Rice
    • A variety of noodles
    • Tofu
    • Soy sauce
    • Gochukaru, chili pepper powder
    • Doenjang, a fermented soybean paste
    • Garlic
    • Ginger
    • Green onions
    • Rice
    • Rice wine
    • Sesame seed oil
    • Roasted sesame seeds
    • Dried seaweed sheets

    I should probably mark this category as Korean-inspired recipes since they are often an interpretation of Korean food through a variety of lenses.
